A Burgundian icon and capital of Burgundy’s wine trade, the wines of AOC Beaune offer elegance and finesse as their principal traits. Planted on steep limestone slopes, the vines offer ripe and concentrated grapes which produce a wine very pretty on the nose, but with an enchanting freshness of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and red (cherry, gooseberry), as well as humus and underbrush. This wine has a striking and vivid scarlet color, and on the palate it is Firm, upright, and black cherry, red raspberry, floral, and mineral characters which coat the mouth with a long and silk-textured finish.
